Cyber Defense Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As a Cyber Defense Engineer, you will work with the team to plan, implement and continuously develop the IT security infrastructure.
You will support the analysis and coordination of security incidents and derive appropriate measures.
You enjoy operating and developing existing security tools based on current threats and trends.
The automation of rule and project activities (Detection & Response as Code) and Incident Response Run Books is a matter of course for you and you will integrate them independently into the system landscape.

Your profile

You will fit in with us if you have successfully completed your training as an IT specialist or your studies in computer science or if you have comparable qualifications
.
Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and additional experience with other programming languages is an advantage.
You already have knowledge of various IT security technologies (SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS).
Team spirit, commitment and personal responsibility are among your strengths.
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English round off your profile.
